How to grow tomatoes in his vegetable garden

How often should I water my garden?
I started a small vegetable garden and I wonder how many times the water and the quantity of water. I live in zone 6. I planted 4 tomatoes, 1 Cherry Tomato, 4 rainbow peppers, 1 onion (the kind that goes on the burgers), and lettuce seeds.
As often as necessary … Do not over water, not underwater. It depends on many factors such as temperature, precipitation, wind, If you have a good layer of mulch or not, etc.
