The growth of plants from seed tomatoes
Tomatoes, though short-lived perennial, treated as annuals and raised from seeds each year. Are subtropical plants that require a constant temperature of 55 º C to germinate successfully, but a temperature of 70 ° C are much faster to emergencies and is generally preferred. Considering the heat, good light and a moist friable tomatoes are easy to raise seed.
For most gardeners, even those who live in neighborhoods with hot tomatoes grown outside in the first stages of growth, it is usual to start the seeds outdoors in pots or flats of compost under controlled conditions. Tomatoes can be sown directly in the field, where the climate and soil conditions are adequate, but much better establishment of plants from seed is better always controlled and increased seedling growth in the early stages of growth of independent modules or pots. Transplantation is easy and it is taken Fast.
As Tomato Seeds are large enough to handle individually, is better than the space outside the surface of the compost ready to germinate when they do not invade other. So when it was transplanted no undue disturbance to root systems vulnerable, those who are tangled together with others. A well-defined seed compound is essential. A sterile environment of a texture and quality that offers the best start to germinate seed.
There are a number of different composts available, but for the amateur gardener, a good soil base composed of a seed is preferable one storey, except one. Soil-compost, although generally slower than the warming, and often a slight change in the rate of seed germination, the generally better performance and higher plants, especially for planting directly in the garden outside.
Plants were raised in soil less compost, which almost always includes a high proportion of friable peat, often time to adjust its roots in the most hostile and less tolerant of a natural garden soil when planted in their permanent positions. Sometimes a growth control occurs during the conversion of roots, causing a deterioration in plant development.
Soil-compost also overcome the problem commonly encountered with Tomato Plants raised in means less land, paste the seed coat the seeds of two sheets together, often interrelated, without causing damage. The seed coat is usually separated by thicker soil based medium seedlings emerge.
Once the plants have two fully developed leaves Seeds may be planted in individual modules or small pots, although it may take two or three weeks, transplanted in flats to save space if necessary. Like all tomatoes collected in this way are vulnerable to melting disease. This causes the seedlings to rot in the stem base and collapse. Regular use of a fungicide is recommended.

How long does it take for tomatoes to grow from seed to eat. also how much is a good price each tomato?
Need how long it takes for a Tomato Seed to grow for food. And how is a good price to sell Home Grown Tomatoes. Sold indvidually.
If you purchase a variety of early harvest as "precocious child" who looked about 50 days to maturity. More or less. In addition, depending on what big tomatoes are their .. In summer, I stand for the production of the farm my family and we charge about 50 cents extra large tomatoes. But in reality it depends on how they are, size, taste, etc. is not really much money to be made in selling products in the garden of the house so want to sell small quantities at a fair price for those looking to make money on this.
