Tomato Relish – 2 Minute Chef

How to Canning homemade taste
When I started to taste, I thought it would be difficult and tedious. Once I have my first game, I realized it was much easier than I thought it would.
Condiments make coaching ideal for hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken and fish. Can also be used on crackers or bread at your favorite band.
For First, you need to supply:
packer bathing water
jars, rings and seals (I use pint size bottles)
spoon (spoon hot mixture into jars)
funnel
jar lifter (for lifting hot jars)
2 mitts (I want to wear gloves to avoid accidental burns my hands)
clean towel dry cotton cloth or kitchen
You need to follow instructions provided with your water bath pot for sterilization and processing of their pots. Always inspect your jars for defects before use.
grain honey spice raisins
5 cups raisins
5 cups water
1 1 / 3 cup honey
1 / 2 cup lemon juice
6 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
2 tablespoons lemon zest
1 cup chopped walnuts
In large saucepan, combine raisins, water, honey and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until the honey background and the ingredients are mixed. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Add blueberries and lemon zest, bring to a boil, then lower temperature simmer for 10 minutes or until liquid barely covers the grapes and cranberries. Remove from heat. Add chopped nuts. Pour into hot jars leaving 1 / 2 "headspace, wipe rims clean, seal and process in a pot of water bath for 15 minutes. Makes 8 cups.
Salsa green tomatoes
2 quarts of green tomatoes
3 red peppers
3 green peppers
3 large onions
3 tablespoons salt
3 cups granulated sugar
1 1 / 2 cups vinegar
1 cup water
2 tablespoons celery seed
2 tablespoons of seeds Turmeric
Chop tomatoes, peppers and onion add to large bowl with salt. Let stand for 30 minutes, then rinse and dry. In large saucepan, combine vegetable mixture with the remaining ingredients. Boil the mixture for 5-7 minutes. Pour into hot jars, leaving 1 / 2 "space head, wipe rims clean, seal and process in a pot of water bath for 15 minutes.
