Pork chops with tomatoes and rice, house salad and a Bundt Cake All Diabetic Friendly
It is time to carry out the economic gains families struggling to help families with their food budget. Here is a menu that allows you to feed your family without busting your food budget. We started with pork chops with tomato and rice. In this dish you have your meat, cereals and vegetables. Add house salad Russian salad with grated carrot, and finish your meal with an apple dessert with raisins and cinnamon bundt cake with fruit, which adds to its menu. There you have it – an easy, economical and delicious meals for your family. And the whole menu is diabetic friendly.
POTATO RICE-tomato
4 thick pork chops
1 / 2 teaspoon salt
1 / 8 c. teaspoon pepper
1 pkg (16 oz) stewed tomatoes
1 / 2 cup water
1 / 2 cup uncooked brown rice
In a large skillet, spray with nonstick cooking spray deep scallops are golden on both sides. Season with salt and pepper. Add tomatoes and water, sprinkle with rice. Cover and cook over very low heat 50-60 minutes or until chops are tender. Add more water if necessary later in the cooking process.
HOME Russian dressing salad
1 cup olive oil
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup Splenda
2 / 3 cup cider vinegar
1 / 2 teaspoon salt
1 clove garlic, minced
Place all ingredients in container mixer. Pulse and blend well. Store in refrigerator in a bottle or jar with lid.
Applesauce Raisin Cinnamon Pastel
3 cups water, divided
1 1 / 4 cup of raisins
2 1 / 2 cups unsweetened applesauce
3 eggs, equality, or 3 / 4 cup egg substitute
1 1 / 2 cups Equal Sugar-Lite
1 cup oil Canola
3 cups flour to increase
3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 / 4 c. teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Nonstick vegetable oil spray
In a large saucepan of great power, mix 2 1 / 2 cups water and raisins, bring to boil. Continue boiling until the water has disappeared. Withdraw fire. Add applesauce, eggs, equality, oil and remaining water. Stir to mix well. Sift together flour, cinnamon and soda. Gradually add flour mixture to applesauce mixture, stirring after each addition.
Spray a 10-inch Bundt pan with vegetable oil spray. Pour the mixture into the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes before turning out. Cool on a rack.
Cake should be cut into 28 slices slices. Diabetics should eat only one serving per day.
