How to choose a Tomato Plant

Question about tomato plants?
I recently bought a tomato plant and a few questions about them. The first is that I have 4 roma plants, they are all very small and I planted them in a large saucepan and once they start to grow im going to transplant into larger pots, I wondered if many lower leaves turn yellow and crispy.
