Pepper Spray – Some Basic Facts
Pepper spray (oleoresin capsicum or OC) is a natural substance derived from the oily resin Cayenne and other rates pepper. The active ingredient in Cayenne Pepper is produced in the stem of the pepper.
The pepper spray is an inflammatory agent, for so that contact with eyes, nose and throat causes immediate but temporary blindness and uncontrolled coughing and wheezing, breathing cut at all, but to support life. It can also cause nausea. Pepper Spray is non-toxic and non-lethal striker and recover completely without effect permanent adverse.
OC is an oily, slightly soluble in water, so if the pepper spray you can not touch your eyes or rub the affected area. If it rubs you will make the effects last longer. Just rinse the area with cold water for about 5 minutes or more, and do not forget Wash your hands with something to remove the oily resin. Baby Shampoo is a good choice.
Many people have heard of this term in SHU topic pepper spray, but what? Scoville Heat Units (Shu) as hotness "of peppers. As the number of Shu, the hotter the pepper, so a pepper has a rating of 0 USD, while cayenne hot used pepper spray may have a rating of USD over 5 milllion. Most sprayers pepper on the market have an SHU rating of 1.5 to 5 million, but the average range is generally 2.3 million USD.
